NutterButter and Chocolate Overload Cupcakes

Ingredients

1 bx	cake mix, devils food..mix as directed
1 pkg	regular sized nutterbutter cookies
1 pkg	mini nutterbutter cookies
1 can(s)	chocolate frosting
PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING
1 c	creamy peanut butter
8 Tbsp	butter room temperature Visit GoBoldWithButter.com
2 c	powdered sugar
3-4 Tbsp	heavy cream..you can use milk also..until frosting is thinned a little
2 tsp	pure vanilla

My husband loves chocolate and peanut butter. I took the idea from my Death by Oreo Cupcakes and did something for him. Sometimes the simple ideas are the best.

Oh my! How could you not fall in love with these sweeties?! The aroma of peanut butter filled the kitchen as we were prepping them... We could hardly wait for the first bite. Delicious!

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.Take 12 NutterButter cookies and cut them in half.Line cupcake tins with cupcake papers and drop a half a cookie in the bottom of each.

Mix cake mix according to directions on the box.

Chop approx 12 cookies coarsely and mix them in the cake mix.

Fill the cupcake tins and bake aprrox 15-18 min.

Prepare Frosting
Cream togather peanut butter and butter. Add vanilla. Slowly add powdered sugar. Add cream or milk to thin the frosting as desirsed.

Frost cupcake ..leave a well in the center the place a dab of chocolate frosting and place a mini NutterButter on top.

ok so now i hafta do these!! i made your death by oreo cupcakes and had 1 lady eat 2 at 1 sitting, and wanted another... i was like ummm lol i think i better cut you off for at least an hr lol cuz thats alot of chocolate lol

I made these beauties today! Actually, I found round Nutter Butter Cookies at Wal Mart, and they were like using Oreos...It was perfect! However, I was unable to find the small cookies, and used Hershey Caramel Kisses!!!

hey if ya'll have a kroger it will be over in the cookie isle in the 10 for 10 section.in little cup like containers.if not, the dollar store has them here in the food isle in with the cookies...they are in a resealable pouch..as are mini oreos and chips ahoy..at wal mart they are overr in the foods section by the cookies/cracker section..and they are usually like the ones in the dollar store..in a resealable pouch..sometimes they Are up by the checkout on the shelves with the candy bars..
