Ingredients

2 c
sugar
2 c
all purpose flour
1/2 c
cocoa powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt

eggs
1 c
vegetable oil
1 c
soured milk (add 1 tsp. vinegar to milk)
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
boiling water

FROSTING

1/2 c
butter
1/4 c
cocoa powder
6 Tbsp
milk
4 c
powdered sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients for the cake. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed

Pour into prepared pan, and bake 35 - 40 minutes until done.

When cake is almost done baking prepare frosting. Heat butter, cocoa, and milk to boiling. Pour over powdered sugar and mix well.

Allow cake to cool for about 10 minutes. Poke small holes in the cake, I use the end of a wooden spoon, then frost the cake while still warm.
