Ingredients

BATTER

1 stick
butter, room temperature
2 c
all purpose flour
1 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
2 large
eggs
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
dairy sour cream
1 1/2 c
whole cranberry sauce
1 tsp
almond extract
1/2 c
finely chopped nuts

TOPPING

3/4 c
powdered sugar
1/2 tsp
almond extract
1 Tbsp
warm water

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350^.Grease and flour or use vegetable spray an 8 inch tube or bundt pan.

Batter:
Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Set aside.
2Mix together flour,baking powder and,baking soda ..Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream; then add the almond extract.
3Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Starting with batter, and alternate layers of batter and cranberry sauce, ending with batter. Top with nuts, lightly pressing into batter.
4Bake for 50 to 55 minutes..Test with toothpick for doneness. Cool completely and drizzle with topping.
