A big hit, adapted from a peanut butter sheet cake recipe for those that cannot eat peanuts.

  • CAKE
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    chunky cookie butter
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • FROSTING
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    marshmallow cream
  • 1/3 c
    chunky cookie butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make cookie butter sheet cake

    To make the cake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 10x15" jelly roll pan.

    Stir together the flour, sugar, and baking soda in a large bowl.

    In a saucepan, combine the water, butter, and cookie butter. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

    Stir cookie butter mixture into the flour/sugar until well combined.

    In a bowl, stir together the eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir into cookie butter mixture until well combined.

    Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes.

    To make the frosting, stir together the sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes.

    Stir in marshmallow cream, cookie butter, and vanilla until smooth.

    Spread frosting over warm cake. Let cool about 1 hour before cutting.
