Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 325. Combine the cake mix, melted butter, peanut butter, and eggs in a large bowl. Press into a 13 x 9 pan, reserving about 1.5 cups of the mixture to crumble later on top.

In a small pot, melt the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and the 2 tbsp butter. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and coconut, if you are using it.

Spread the chocolate mixture on top of the cake mixture in the pan. Crumble the remaining cake mix on top.
I use walnuts, but have been told coconuts if you prefer.....

Bake for 20-25 minutes

    You didn't mention coconut in the ingredients. Also, is the extra two tablespoons butter from the original 1/2 cup butter or an additional two tablespoons?

    My husband do not use coconut..... But if that is the way you cook it everyone is different.... But my recipe is the way I was told to make it.... and my family loves it always have, and the 2 spoons of butter is in addition too...
