Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 2 standard doughnut pans.
Mix together the pumpkin, oil, eggs,sugar, spices, salt, and baking powder until smooth. Stir in flour just until smooth.
Fill the wells of the doughnut pan 3/4 full. Bake the doughnuts for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove them from the oven and after a few minutes transfer to a rack to cool. while the donuts are still warm but no longer fragile, gently shake them in a bag with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Cool completely. Yields 12-15 doughnuts.
