This is a healthy whole grain hot cereal that is so hearty and nutritous.
You should be able to find all these grains in the bulk section of almost any health food store.

Ingredients

1/2 c
wheat berries
1/2 c
buckwheat
1/2 c
pearled barley
1/2 c
steel cut oats or groats
4 c
water
4 c
milk
1/2 tsp
salt
maple syrup, honey, sugar, brown sugar or low calorie sweetener to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Place all ingredients in a crock pot.

Cook on low about 8 hours or overnight as you sleep.

Add sweetener of choice. Add any dried or fresh fruit and nuts of choice if desired.

I'm the only one in my house that will eat this. I was thinking it would be great to make a big pot for Sunday breakfast, and the put it in the fridge, or freeze into daily servings. How long would it keep in the fridge?
