Homemade Raisan Walnut Granola Cereal

You can substitute any chopped dried fruit for the raisans. And any nut for the walnuts. I've tried all variations.

Ingredients

4 c
oats(not quick cooking)
1 1/2 c
chopped walnuts
4 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
nutmeg
1 tsp
ground clove
1 tsp
ground ginger
1/2 tsp
salt
1 1/2 c
raisins
1/4 c
canola oil
1/2 c
honey
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
3/4 c
light brown surgar-packed

Step-By-Step

1Mix all dry ingredients together in a big bowl except raisans. Set aside.
2Heat oil, honey and vanilla, just until starts bubbling. When it comes to a boil pour honey over the oat mixture and stir until well blended.
3Put a sheet of foil over 2 cookies with sides on them. Split half in each pan and spread out in a layer.
4Bake in 300 degrees for 40 minutes. Stirring every 10 minutes. When finished take out of oven and let cool completely in the pan.
5When cooled completely, add raisans and mix.
6Put mixture in a sealed container. Serve with milk. also great in yogurt and on ice cream.
