This comes from the "Comfort Diet Cookbook:Family Classics Collection.
Have 2 pieces of this with 1/2 cup plain fat free yogart with 4 sliced strawberries and a 1/4 cup blueberries. Add a cup of hot tea .

Ingredients

apple,peeled and thinly sliced
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
reduced fat butter
1 large
egg
1/4 tsp
vanilla extract
4 slice
french bread,..1/2" each

Directions Step-By-Step

Saute apple brown sugar until tender.

In a shallow bowl whisk egg,milk and vanilla.
Dip both sides of French Toast in egg mixture.

In a large skillet, melt the reduced fat butter over medium heat.
Cook bread on both sides until golden brown.
Serve with apple mixture over the top of French Toast.
