Ingredients

BATTER

1 c
steele cut oats
2 scoop(s)
vanilla whey-to-go protein powder
1/2 c
light agave nectar
2 Tbsp
cinnamon
1/4 c
egg whites
2
eggs

CANDIED APPLES

1 Tbsp
earth balance (butter)
1
granny smith apples
2 Tbsp
palm sugar

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prep and cook 1 cup of steel cut oats using directions on label.

Chop 1 to 2 Apples of your choice into small slices, add Earth Balance (or butter), and Palm Sugar (or sugar of your choice) and Cinnamon, then cook on medium heat until semi soft.

2Mix all ingredients for the batter directly into the cooked steele cut oats.

3Fill the muffin pan with batter.
Side note: Don't make the same mistake I did; use cup cake liners. ;)

4Bake for about 40 minutes and serve, let cool for about 10, and serve.
