Tanya's Crockpot breakfast casserole
A friend of mine made this a few weeks ago and brought me a couple pieces, it was wonderful..She made several single serving size conatiners and took this for breakfast just needing to be re warmed. This makes a great make ahead breakfast if your having company over.
- 1 c
- 1 pkg
- (32oz.) frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 lb
- bacon, cooked, drained and cut into pieces
- 1 lb
- sausage, browned and drained
- 1/2 c
- green onions, diced
- green pepper diced
- 3/4 lb
- cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp
- dry mustard (she substitued johnny's seasoning salt)
1Layer potatoes, bacon, onions, green pepper and cheese in crockpot in two or three layers.
3Beat the eggs, milk, and seasoning.
4Pour over the whole mixture.
5Cook on low 10-12 hours, until eggs are set and throughly cooked.
