I combined a few breakfast bake recipes to come up with this one. I am trying to avoid hydrogenated oils and increase my whole grain and fiber consumption. So I used Hodson Mill Insta-Bake in place of bread or baking mixes. I prepared this for breakfast before we took off for a short trip. It was a hit!

Ingredients

eggs- slightly beated
1 can(s)
evaporated milk ( 14 ozs)
3/4 c
hodson mill insta-bake
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 tsp
mustard, spicy brown
1/4 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
onion powder
1 lb
roll sausage

Step-By-Step

1Grease a 10 inch pie plate, set aside. Brown sausage and drain well.

2Stir all remaining ingredients together. Add the cooked sausage and mix. Pour into prepared pie plate.

3Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; do not over bake.

4May place extra shredded cheese on top and melt, if desired. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
