Famous Guest House Baked Oatmeal Recipe
I just happened across this recipe while reading about missions in Rwanda. I thought it sounded interesting and I have tried it and I thought it was pretty good for a breakfast item. I cut the salt down from 1 tsp to 1/2 in the recipe posted because I thought it was too salty.
Serve fresh out of the oven with warm milk/cream, fruit and drizzled honey. (We use bananas in Rwanda.)
It can also be prepared the evening before and refrigerated overnight to bake in the morning.
