These are so easy to throw together and have such a great flavor. They're flaky and not too sweet. Great for a quick brunch or as a wonderful snack and the apple cider glaze is just the right touch for these.

Ingredients

1
frozen puff pastry (thawed per package directions)
1/3 c
caramel apple butter (or regular apple butter)
1 large
egg (optional)

APPLE CIDER GLAZE:

1 c
powdered sugar
2 Tbsp
+ 1 tsp apple cider

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
2Unroll thawed pastry dough on a floured surface. Spread apple butter to edges of puff pastry. Starting at side closest to you, roll dough jelly roll style.
3If desired, add 1 tsp water to whisked egg to make an egg wash. Brush on rolled dough. Cut rolled dough into 1 inch slices (you should get about 10 slices) and place cut side down on prepared pan leaving about 2 inches between each slice.
4Bake in preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until dough is flaky and golden.
5Combine powdered sugar and apple cider in a small bowl; stirring until smooth. Drizzle on warm rolls.
