Butterscotch Apple Bread

Although I wish it had some more butterscotch flavor, this sweet bread turned out really good...and it's healthy! By the way, if it doesn't come refrigerated, it's not real juice/cider. Use the good stuff.

Ingredients

1 box
instant sugar-free butterscotch pudding
1 c
milk, skim
1 c
brown sugar
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
ginger powder
1 pinch
salt
3 c
whole grain flour
1 Tbsp
baking powder
2 tsp
baking soda
1 3/4 c
100% apple juice, unsweetened

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and apple juice. Mix until well combined.

3Pour batter into a greased tube pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
