My daughter got this recipe from her mother in-law Diana.

Everybody just loves this bread when she brings it to a family gathering.

This is not a crisp bread but you can place it under the broiler for a few seconds to crisp up if desired.

Ingredients

1 large
loaf or french bread
1 stick
(cube) of soft butter
2 Tbsp
olive oil
2 clove
garlic
1/4 - 1/2 c
grated parmesan cheese ( fresh grated ..not the type in the green can)

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Slice French bread loaf into thick slices , but keeping the loaf intact.
2
Pressed garlic cloves through a garlic press and mix into the soft butter ; Add olive oil and the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.
3
Place butter mixture between each slice on french loaf ; Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and Bake @ 400° for 10-12 minutes.
