|2 c||luckewarm water|

DirectionsPre-Heat oven to 350*
Cream sugar,salt and shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to the sugar/ shortening mixture, along with the well beaten eggs. Add flour last and mix well.Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and place in refrigerator in a covered bowl. Chill. Pinch off small pieces of dough about the size of a quarter (cover hands with flour to prevent sticking).Place on a greased cookie sheet about 2' apart and let rise until double in size. Bake at 350* until golden brown. Grease tops with butter.You can also pinch off the pieces, stretch the dough, fold over in half and let rise that way.
