Ingredients

4 apples. grannys r fine. peeled and cut up in small bites
2 large cans of the grands biscuits. no butter
11/2 cups sugar. 1 1/2 tabsp cinnamon
just enough water to cover apples
1 tabsp corn starch to thicken
a lil flour [will explain]
duncan hines amazing glazes vanilla or a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Directions Step-By-Step

PEEL AND CUT UP APPLES . PLACE IN MED SAUSE PAN. POUR IN JUST ENOUGH WATER TO COVER APPLES. NO MORE THAN THAT.

POUR THE SUGAR IN. THEN THE CINNAMON. COOK ON HI FOR ABOUT 15-20 MINS STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. WHEN IT STARTS SMELLING REAL GOOD TURN IT DOWN TO MED HEAT. STIR IN THE CORN STARCH, AND LET COOK DOWN TIL ITS THICK.

AFTER THE APPLES R THICKENED UP IN A LARGER BOWL FILL WITH ICE CUBES [OR CRUSHED ICE]. THEN IN A SLIGHTLY SMALLER BOWL THAT IS SITTING ON TOP THE ICE CUBES. POUR APPLE MIXTURE IN IT. STIR. LET SET ABOUT 15 MINS OR TIL COOLED OFF.

THEN ROLL OUT THE LARGE BISCUITS [NOT REAL THIN. AFTER U HAVE ROLLED THEM OUT SPRINKLE A LIL FLOUR ON EACH ONE. THIS KEEPS IT FROM BEING DOUGHY WHEN COOKED.

THEN PUT A LIL FILLING ON EACH ONE AND ROLL IT UP AND SECURE ALL OPENINGS PLACE ON A GRIDDLE SPRAYED WITH PAM. COOK TIL GOLDEN BROWN [OR A LIL LONGER FOR A LIL DARKER GOLDEN BROWN] THEN TURN OVER AND BROWN THE OTHER SIDE

PLACE ALL COOKED FRITTERS ON A PLATTER. THEN WITH DUNCAN HINES AMAZING GLAZES [VANILLA] DRIZZLLE ON TOP WHILE WARM, OR PLACE A SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM ON TOP. I LIKE IT WARM. AND SERVE
