Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This is very easy and delicious!! A great twist on a classic sandwich. The Jewish rye with the combo of the cheeses is really good. The pepper jack gives the sandwich a little bite along with the onion. The tomato and banana peppers also give this a lot of flavor. The crunch of the bacon just sends it over the top!

Ingredients

2 slice
Jewish rye bread
2 slice
pepper jack cheese
2 slice
colby cheese
2 slice
tomato
4 slice
cooked bacon
2 slice
onion-thinly sliced
6
pieces of banana peppers-sliced
butter-spread on each slice of bread

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Place cheeses on the bread, the cooked bacon, onion, and peppers. Place other slice of bread on the top.
2
Spread butter on the outsides of the bread and place in medium hot skillet. Cook a couple of minutes and flip to other side and brown.
3
The cheese should be melted and bread sliced golden brown. Cut in half and serve with hot bowl of Tomato Bisque soup. DELICIOUS!!!
