These delicious tender scones, are great, served with your favorite jams, honey or just plain old butter...they go great with a cup of coffee...I served them with stew today...to sop up the delicious gravy.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
ap flour
2 Tbsp
sugar
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 c
heavy cream
raw sugar
and extra cream for the tops - optional

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 400 degree F.

Spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray.

In a medium sized bowl. mix the flour, salt, baking powder, sugar.

Add 1 cup heavy cream, and stir until dough comes together.

On a lightly floured surface, knead 3 - 4 times.

Pat out the dough to bout 1 inch thick.

Cut into 8 triangles, and place on baking sheet.

I brushed the tops with more cream and sprinkled with Turbinado sugar. Completely up to you.

Bake for 15 minutes, or until no longer doughy and starting to turn golden around edges.

Serve warm...they are delicious with jam, honey or butter.
