Very tasty used as a spread for your favorite sandwich too- like chicken or egg salad.
Toasting the walnuts first will enrich the flavor for a
sweet/nutty taste. I haven't tried candied walnuts yet , but that will give this dip a nice crunchy texture ,if you leave a few of the nuts in chunks.
- 1 c
- 1 Tbsp
- sherry vinegar
- 5 Tbsp
- water or juice -such as orange or apple juice
- 1 tsp
- dijon mustard
- 1 clove
- 2 Tbsp
- fresh chopped chives
Add 1 or 2 more Tablespoons of water or juice if needed to get a smooth consistency. Stir in chives. Serve with steamed artichokes and stems or your favorite veggies or as a sandwich spread or egg salad.
