Cottage Blue Cheese Dip

This is a recipe I have used for quite awhile- everyone seems to enjoy the mingling of the two cheese flavors and seasonings. Although there are always 2 or three other dips to choose -this goes the fastest- other ingredients may be added if you like, such as pimento,diced sweet peppers, chopped dill pickles, mushrooms....

2 cups

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
12 oz. container-cream-style small curd cottage cheese
1/3 c
crumbled blue cheese
1/8 tsp
(that's a pinch, btw), pepper
1/2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
finely chopped green onion,some greens too
3 Tbsp
cream or milk
1 dash(es)
paprika, for color

Directions Step-By-Step

Blend the cottage with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
If you feel it needs to be thinner , add a little more cream. Serve chilled, with vegetables or crackers or chips..great spread on toasted pumpernickel squares too.
