Notes from the Test Kitchen:
Yup... I see why this bread could be addicting. The cheese mixture is so good and creamy. This would top off an Italian meal perfectly. But, cut this into bite sized pieces and they'd be a great appetizer. Yum!

8 oz
shredded mozzarella cheese
1 lb
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c
green onions, chopped
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
sour cream
3-4 clove
garlic, minced
1 stick
butter, softened to point of being slightly melted
loaves of french bread or ciabatta or a baguette - sliced into two

1In Large bowl, mix together the cheeses and the green onion. Stir in the mayo & sour cream. In separate small bowl blend the butter and garlic until smooth. Add the butter mixture to the cheese mixture
2Preheat Boiler. Lay crust side of breads down. Spread the cheese mixture over the bread. Place under the broiler until nicely browned, about 3 to 5 minutes
3Remove from broiler and let sit for 5 minutes (will be extremely HOT) Slice the bread with bread knife and Serve!
