My grandma's chess pies had no vinegar or cornmeal. She always had to make two because my grandpa would just set a whole pie at his place and eat it all. (very rude). her recipe is very old ,turn of the last century. I guess it started in Tennessee and ended up in Oklahoma. I am 82 and have collected Chess pie recipes always. Love them
