rotini pasta or gluten free rotini
green cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 tsp
crushed red pepper (optional)
1Bring a pan of water to a boil. Add pasta to boiling water. Cook until slightly undercooked. Drain and set aside.
2Slice a medium onion.
4Quarter and core head of cabbage.
5Shred cabbage in food processor.
6Peel and shred carrots.
7Melt butter on medium in another large pan.
8Cook onion in melted butter for 5 min.
9Add minced garlic and cook for 30 sec.
10Add shredded cabbage and carrots.
11Stir to combine and cook for about 8-10min
12Season cabbage mixture with salt, pepper, and red pepper.
13Add pasta to cabbage mixture and continue to cook over medium heat while stirring.
14Cook until pasta is done.
