I just the love taste of a summer time salad, with the heat and crunch of the Doritos's This salad does not require a typical dressing, I just squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.

Ingredients For grilled salad & habanero dorito's

  • romaine lettuce leaves, washed chopped or torn and put into the refrigerator wrapped in paper towel to crisp up
  • 1/2 of a 15 ounce can of sliced beets drained
  • 1 small head of broccoli cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 -2 teaspoons oil not olive
  • wedge of lemon
  • fiery habanero doritos
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make grilled salad & habanero dorito's

    Get the BBQ all ready with the coals, once the coals are all ashy put them into the grille.

    In a pan with holes " made for BBQ-ing " or if you don't have one of these,simply get foil pan and punch holes into it. Put in on the BBQ to get it hot.

    Toss the broccoli & beets with the oil and put into the pan. Keep moving the vegetables so they'll char but not burn.

    Once the vegetables are done, plate your lettuce top with the vegetables. Drizzle with fresh squeezed lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Serve with Doritos.
