Ingredients For chaos cake

  • CAKE
  • 3
    king size Reese's Nutrageous candy bars, sliced
  • 1 pkg
    German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2
    granola bars, chopped
  • 13/4 c
    peanut butter chips, divided
  • 1 tsp
    coconut extract
  • 2
    milk chocolate bars, coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 c
    caramel ice cream topping
  • FROSTING
  • 1 tube
    frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 c
    crunchy peanut butter
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp
    malted milk powder
  • 1/2 c
    cane sugar

How To Make chaos cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    To make the cake, coat two 9-inch round cake pans with cooking spray. Add sliced Reese's Nutrageous candy bars between the cake pans.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs and pudding mix. Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes until blended.

    Add chopped granola bar pieces,1 cup peanut butter chips and coconut extract.

    Beat again on low speed for 30 seconds. Pour the cake batter into prepared cake pans.

    Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.

    For the frosting, combine whipped topping, crunchy peanut butter, cream cheese, malted milk powder and cane sugar in a medium bowl. Whisk together for 2 minutes until blended. Set aside.

    Place a first layer cake on a large plate and spread half the frosting onto the cake. Add chopped chocolate bars and remaining peanut butter chips.

    Place a second layer cake on top and spread remaining frosting on top and sides of the cake. Drizzle with caramel ice cream topping.
