How To Make grandma's sour cream crescent rolls

  • 1
Place butter in a small saucepan and bring to boil Remove from heat.

Stir in sour cream and sugar. Cool to 115 degrees
  • 3
Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes
  • 4
Stir in Sour cream mixture and beaten eggs.
  • 5
Combine all dry ingredients. Gradually add dry ingredients to sour cream and egg and yeast mixture, mixing well.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hrs.
  • 7
Punch down dough and divide into four equal parts

Roll each part into a 10 in round. I use a pizza stone covered with flour. Cut into four with a pizza cutter and then cut each of the four into three. Ending up with 12 sections.

Bake in 375 degree pre heated oven for 10 minutes (golden brown)
  • 11
Brush with more melted butter after removing from oven and enjoy!!
