I couldn’t view the video but have a great way to mince garlic and peel at the same time. I put the cloves I need on my cutting board, cover them it’s my widest butcher knife and press down firmly. Lift my knife and garlic is minced with peel separated and ready to discard.

In order to peel the garlic , place in a microwave safe receptacle for 10 seconds (depending on the microwave)( I use the defrost cycle which starts at 30 seconds and I stop it when it shows 20 left) and that should have the skins almost falling off ! Cut off the base of each clove b4 attempting to peel
