How can I receive a Blue Ribbon?

There are 4 ways that Just A Pinch awards Blue Ribbons to recipes:

1. In the Test Kitchen:
Nothing top secret here, folks. Like many of you, The Crew is in their kitchen every day cooking. They love testing and tasting the varied recipes submitted by Members like you. We try to review each recipe that's posted and those that are felt to have Blue Ribbon potential get whipped up in the Test Kitchen. When they come across an exceptional dish in the kitchen, it gets a Blue Ribbon. Additionally, one outstanding recipe is elevated to "Feature" status each week and that recipe is put in the spotlight.

2. By the Honorary Kitchen Crew:
The Honorary Kitchen Crew is made up of home cooks from around the country that have either won a recipe contest or received six or more Blue Ribbons of their own. They prepare recipes from Just A Pinch at their leisure and nominate the standouts for a Ribbon!

3. Members’ Choice:
Who better than other home cooks to elevate a recipe to the Test Kitchen? Just A Pinch Members can nominate recipes they've marked as Family Tested and Approved. Those dishes receiving three or more nominations are reviewed and tested by the Crew!

4. Blue Ribbon Fast Track:
Once a year, Premium members can "boost" a recipe for the Test Kitchen to try by using their Blue Ribbon Fast Track.

Now, only recipes from members with a photo of themselves in their profile can be featured, so say cheese and let us see that smiling face. Who knows, we may be serving up your dish as the next Blue Ribbon pick!
