How to Make Disappearing Caramel Corn
- In a heavy saucepan, mix butter, brown sugar and syrup. Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes.
- While it cooks, pour the bag (or 2) of corn puffs into a large roasting pan for plenty of room to stir.
- Add the vanilla and soda. Give it a stir and it will foam up. While it foams, pour it over the corn puffs and mix well to coat the puffs.
- Spread it out on large cookie sheet(s) and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 min. Store in zip lock bags. Hide a bag to enjoy at your leisure because the others won't last long!!
