If you love cauliflower this is the dish for you.I like it with just a slice of garlic bread and sometimes a small salad. PICTURE COMING SOON!!!!

Ingredients

  • CAULIFLOWER:
  • 1 large head cauliflower about 31/4 lbs. trimmed and cut into florets.
  • 6 cloves garlic.halved lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • CHEESE SAUCE:
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 11/2 cups 2% milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese

How To Make roasted cauliflower with cheese sauce

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 450 degrees. Combine cauliflower and garlic in a large bowl.Drizzle and toss with olive oil.While stirring season with salt and pepper.Transfer into a large rimmed baking sheet.Roast at 450 for 30 minutes,stirring once.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile prepare Cheese Sauce.Melt butter over medium heat in a medium sauce pan (not nonstick)Whisk in flour and cook 2 minutes.Gradually add milk,whisking constantly until smooth.Bring to a simmer,whisking occasionly.Season with salk and nutmeg.Simmer 4 minutes and remove from heat.Stir in grated cheese,whisking until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Tansfer Roasted Cauliflower and Garlic to a platter.Top with Cheese Sauce and serve immediately. ENJOY!!!!!!
