Mom's Macaroni & Cheese Casserole
8 ozmacaroni of choice
1 lbamerican or cheddar cheese, grated (mom used velveeta)
1/2green bell pepper, diced
1 smalljar diced pimento, strained
1 can(s)cream of mushroom soup
1 smallonion, diced
How to Make Mom's Macaroni & Cheese Casserole
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook macaroni as directed, less 2-3 minutes. When about half done, add pepper and onion. Cook a few more minutes but do not overcook macaroni.
- Remove from stove. Strain. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
- Put in a greased casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
