I ate this while growing up. My ex-husband loved it. It is something I feel needs to be share - I have never heard of it anywhere else - though it might be out there

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 -3 teaspoon margarine
How To Make raisin sauce for ham

Step 1Add raisins to warm water and allow to soak 15 to 20 min - until soft.

Step 2Drain raisns, keeping the water and raisns aside.

Step 3Cool water for 10 min.

Step 4Mix flour and ugar well. Slowly add the warm water, stirring on a med. heat, until the sauce clears. - The sauce will look somewhat transparent.

Step 5Remove from the heat. Add raisins, margarine and vanilla. Set aside while you are cooking other things - about half an hour.

Step 6Serve very warm with ham.
