There are so many ways to prepare this. You can use bread stuffing or pork sausage stuffing. I prefer seasoned bread stuffing, as stuffing pork with more pork would be too over the top for me.

Serve your favorite vegetable alongside these stuffed pork chops for an easy weeknight meal. Juicy, sweet apples are mixed with savory stuffing and slivered almonds and then stuffed inside the boneless pork chops. They're tender and full of flavor.

Ingredients For stuffed pork chops

  • 2 c
    prepared stuffing mix
  • 1 lg
    apple, cored and peeled
  • 1 c
    + 3 Tbsp water, divided
  • 1 c
    slivered almonds, plus additional for garnish
  • 4
    boneless thick-cut pork chops
  • 2 lg
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    cooking oil
  • 1 tsp
    beef bouillon, powder or granulated form

How To Make stuffed pork chops

  • Prepare the stuffing according to the directions on the box.

  • Dice the apple.

  • Place the apple in a microwave-safe bowl with 3 Tbsp water and microwave.

  • Add apples and slivered almonds to the prepared stuffing.

  • Cut a pocket into the pork chops.

    With a sharp knife, form a pocket in the meat by cutting horizontally through each chop 3/4 of the way through.
  • Dip in eggs.

  • Pan fry the pork chops.

    Add oil to a skillet. Over medium heat, fry chops for five minutes on each side until browned turning once. Slightly cool the pork chops. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Mix water and beef bouillon.

    After cooling, mix beef bouillon with 1 cup water.
  • Stuff chops with the almond apple stuffing mixture.
