glazed baked chicken
I didn't want to fry my chicken so I looked around the kitchen and put together a list of ingredients I thought would taste good together and I came up with this. For some reason it seemed retro as well as very comforting. The chicken ended up being very tasty and extremely tender.

Ingredients
- - chicken legs and thighs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice unsweetened
- 1/2 cup 7 up
- 1 - orange zest, and juice of orange
- 10 - whole cloves ground
- 1 - pear cut into slices
How To Make glazed baked chicken

Step 1preheat oven to 400

Step 2whisk together cranberry juice,honey,7 up, orange juice and zest and cloves.

Step 3place chicken and pear slices in baking dish, pour juice mixture over chicken and pears.

Step 4cover in foil and cook 15 minutes.

Step 5after 15 mins uncover and continue baking for 45 mins more basting every once in a while.

Step 6serve with a salad topped with cranrasins and buttery rice.
