Ingredients
- 2 pounds round steak
- 1 cup crisco
- 3 tablespoons flour
- - salt to taste
- 3 cups water
How To Make country style steak

Step 1Cut round steak into pieces. Heat Crisco in large skillet (I use an iron one). Roll steak in flour and fry brown on both sides over medium-high heat(about 3 minutes each side). Remove meat from skillet.

Step 2Add 3 tablespoons flour to the pan drippings and brown while stirring. Add salt and 3 cups water, stir well. Put steak back in pan and spoon some gravy over meat. Simmer covered on low 2 hours or until meat is fork tender.
