beef and biscuit casserole
My mother found this recipe in the newspaper and kept it in taped up in the kitchen. I like this recipe because you can change it up a bit and add different ingredients to make it a different meal, for instance, you can use mozzarella cheese and Italian seasonings. It is easily doubled to a 13 x 9 pan. Hope you enjoy this easy recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 - can of refrigerated bisuits
- 1 can green chilies
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 - egg
- 1 can tomato sauce, 8 ounces
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, jack or cheddar
How To Make beef and biscuit casserole

Step 1Brown the hamburger and fry the onion till soft, add chili powder. Add the can of tomato sauce and the can of chilies, bring to a simmer. Remove from heat. In a bowl, mix the egg and sour cream and add about 1/2 cup or so of the cheese. Mix the meat mixture with the sour cream mixture, then pour that into a 9 inch square pan. Open the can of biscuits and place the biscuits on top of the meat mixture. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 min or until the biscuits are golden brown.
