Baked Alaska Meatloaf
WELL, no ice cream here...but still the surprise of finding meat under the potatoes and cheese.
Not sure where I got this recipe, but we eat it quite a bit.
- 1 pkg
- brown gravy mix
- 1 1/2 lb
- ground beef
- 2 tsp
- minced onion
- 1/4 tsp
- 1 tsp
- dry chives
- servings instant mashed potatoes or leftover real potatoes
- 1/2 c
- cheddar cheese, shredded
How to Make Baked Alaska Meatloaf
- 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix gravy mix, ground beef, onion, and pepper in a large bowl. Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan.
- 2Stir chives into mashed potatoes and spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- 3Bake 55 minutes or until cooked through. Sprinkle on the cheese and bake for an additional 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
