Baked Alaska Meatloaf
WELL, no ice cream here...but still the surprise of finding meat under the potatoes and cheese.
Not sure where I got this recipe, but we eat it quite a bit.
1 pkgbrown gravy mix
1 1/2 lbground beef
2 tspminced onion
1 tspdry chives
4servings instant mashed potatoes or leftover real potatoes
1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
How to Make Baked Alaska Meatloaf
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix gravy mix, ground beef, onion, and pepper in a large bowl. Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan.
- Stir chives into mashed potatoes and spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake 55 minutes or until cooked through. Sprinkle on the cheese and bake for an additional 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
