When in New Orleans, you must try their Café Royale. I purchased some Café Royale spoons that grab the rim of a cup so you can ignite easily. Wonderful after dinner drink.

Ingredients For cafe royale

  • 1 c
    sugar cube
  • 1 Tbsp
    cognac brandy
  • 1 c
    coffee, hot

How To Make cafe royale

  • 1
    Place lump / cube of sugar in a Café Royale spoon. You can use a regular spoon, also.
  • 2
    Put the cube of sugar and pour cognac so the sugar cube soaks of the brandy.
  • 3
    Ignite. When flame burns out, pour contents into black coffee.
