anyhow, I re-named it "Kay's Plunder" and I used to make it all of the time for my friends at our summer campground! particularly for my friend Marie, who really loved it, and used to always ask for it! Enjoy!....
1 1/2 call purpose flour
2/3 cfinely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/2 csoftened butter or marg.
1 pkg( 8 oz.).....cream cheese, softened
1 largecontainer cool whip
1 cpowdered sugar
1 pkginstant choc. pudding (4 serv. size)
1 pkginstant vanilla pudding (4 serv. size)
How to Make ...Kay's "Plunder"....
- Mix together flour, nuts, and butter....spread into 9/13 in pan (it will be a thin crust) and bake @ 350 degrees for about 30 min.....let cool completely
- mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and HALF of the lg. container of cool whip.....spread over cooled crust
- mix together both puddings with the 3 c. of milk...and when it thickens, spread over cream cheese layer....Top with remaining cool whip, and refrigerate!......I usually finish by sprinkling some chopped nuts and grated choc. to make a pretty top!.....
