sliced fresh strawberries,divided
2 Tbsp
granulated sugar
3 pkg
(3 oz. each) ladyfingers, split
4 pkg
(8 oz. each)cream cheese,softened
2 c
granulated sugar
2 c
heavy whipping cream

How to Make Ladyfinger Cheesecake by TOH

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large bowl, combine the strawberries and 2 Tablespoons sugar, Cover and refrigerate for a least 1 hour.
  • 2Using a sprayed or greased 10-inch springform pan, arrange 25 split ladyfingers around the edges of the pan.
    Place 25 more on the bottom of the pan ; set aside.
  • 3In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 2 cups of sugar until smooth. In another large bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually fold this into the cream cheese mixture.
  • 4Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture into the prepared pan. Spread with 1/2 of the strawberry mixture to within 1 inch of edges. Cover; refrigerate remaining strawberries.(reserve a bit of the berries).
  • 5Arrange remaining ladyfingers over top. Spoon remaining cream cheese mixture over ladyfingers. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Serve with reserved strawberry mixture.
