What is really great about this recipe is you can use any cake mix and put any fruit,candy, or nuts into the cheese mixture. My friends love it when I put chocolate cake on bottom and butter cake on top with toffee in the cheese! Yummo!!

Ingredients

1 box fudge cake mix
2 - eggs, divided
1/3 cup vegetable oil
8 ounces cream cheese,soft
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chippy cheese bars

Step 1

Mix dry cake mix, 1 egg, and veg oil till crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Pat remaining crumb mixture into ungreased 13x9x2 pan. Bake 15mins at 350 degrees.

Step 2

Beat cheese, sugar, and 1 egg until light and smooth. Stir in chips and then spread over baked layer. Sprinkle remaining cup of crumb topping over cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15minutes. Cool before cutting. Makes 3 doz
