peeled,sliced apples
1 pkg
german chocolate cake mix
1 tsp
1 1/4 c
1/4 c
softenerd margarine
3 large
1/2 c
chopped nuts


1 oz
(3) cream cheese..softened
4 Tbsp
3 c
powdered sugar

How to Make German Layered Apple Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350.
    Spread 1/2 of apples evenly in a greased 13"x9" pan.
  • 2In a large bowl mix DRY cake mix,cinnamon,water,margarine,and eggs at low speed until smooth.
    Beat 2 minutes at highest speed.
    Stir in nuts.
  • 3Pour 1/2 of the batter evenly over apples and repeat layers.
  • 4Bake 40-50 minutes or until it tests done with a
