I've been making this easy breakfast for years. I don't remember where I first found the name of the recipe. When I tried to find a picture to post today, it was difficult but I finally found something that "sort of" looks like the final dish! Regardless of what you call it, this is great for breakfast!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 slices bread (wheat, white, farmer's...sturdy bread)
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup ham, diced
- 1/2 cup red pepper
- - salt and pepper, use sparingly
How To Make stzuddla brod

Step 1Note: Adding the ham and red pepper are optional.

Step 2Melt the butter in a small skillet, on medium-low.

Step 3Add the bread and toss to coat in the butter until lightly browned. Note: if you are adding the red pepper and ham, do it at this point.

Step 4Add the egg and continue to toss until the bread (and other ingredients) are well coated.

Step 5Cook until the egg is done.

Step 6Immediately put onto a plate. **This makes one serving or you can divide it up and serve two people.
