My son loves making these. So easy! If you have Jiffy cornbread mix, you can use it instead. ;)

Ingredients

1 pkg
hillshire farms little smokies
5 Tbsp
unsalted butter
3/4 c
yellow cornmeal
3/4 c
all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 c
milk
1 c
half & half
2
eggs
1/8 c
sugar
spray oil for muffin tin

How to Make Corn Dog Muffins

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 425. Mae sure the rack is in the middle of the oven.
  • 2Melt butter in microwave. Set aside to cool while you prepare everything else.
  • 3In your Kitchaide mixer (or with a whisk)mix all dry ingredients together.
  • 4After dry ingredients is mixed, add in the milk, butter, eggs, & half/half. Mix until smooth.
  • 5Spray muffin tin with oil.
  • 6Put 1/8 cup of batter in each muffin round, lay on top 2 Little Smokies, then add in a 1/4 cup of batter on top of each Little Smokie.
  • 7Bake for 10-15 minutes or until tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
  • 8Enjoy! (My boys like them with mustard)
