This is a sweet, salty, and zesty appetizer that is simple to make and looks elegant. You can use ready made crostini instead of the baguette slices.

Ingredients For orange prosciutto crostini

  • 1/3 c
    whipped cream cheese
  • 12
    sliced baguette
  • 1/3 c
    orange marmalade
  • 12 slice
    prosciutto
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh chopped basil
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • grated peel from an orange
  • salt and pepper

How To Make orange prosciutto crostini

    Toast bread slices, if desired. Spread about 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese spread onto 1 side of each slice of bread. Spread about 1/2 teaspoon marmalade over cheese spread on each but do not cover cheese completely.

    Lightly roll each prosciutto slice into cone shape; place over marmalade on each.

    Place on serving plate. Sprinkle with basil, orange peel, salt and pepper; drizzle olive oil over each. Serve immediately.
