Dear Just a Pinch , Linda Griffith was my Mother and unfortunately she passed away in 2013 . She absolutely loved to cook and she also loved this site. This recipe was one that was loved by everyone whoever tasted it . I’m honored that she has won another blue ribbon . My sister and I each have one from previously proudly displayed on our refrigerator. We would be very appreciative if we could receive the ribbon she just won so we could share with her grandchildren and our brother . Cooking was her love so much that her chicken pot pie recipe ( look it up on here ) was even printed on her memorial page at her funeral . When I read these comments I beam with pride because I know she would be so happy and when I read some of the negative ones I also smile because a real cook doesn’t really need measuring cups so if you do t understand the language of cooking this might not be the page to follow BUT if you want amazing food that was created with her heart and soul then you definitely should try them all ! I ordered her cookbooks off of here and appreciate the love this site gave her in her last couple of years here on earth . Yes, she may have left out an ingredient occasionally where the diabetes that took her life made it hard to see clearly but her quest to share her God given talent is what kept her going. Please keep sharing and enjoying ! When I miss her I get on here and look up something to cook and she’s right there with me . ♥️
