I was very disappointed in this cake. I followed the instructions to the letter, even purchasing the frozen fruit just shortly before using it. The finished product had almost an inch of liquid (frozen juice) from the berries. A lot of the topping, which had not been covered with the 7-up, was still powder from the box and inedible. After the first nibble, I chose to pull the fruit out of the casserole (It was deliciously cooked) and put it into a container to use with something else, perhaps on top of ice cream or pancakes. Would I call this "cake" in any form? No. Would I call it cobbler? No. I would call it runny and powdery. Sorry, but this is a No Go for me.
