This is a recipe from my sister and is not a mix. This is the only way I have ever made it and it always works. Hope you like it.

I am a novice at bread making but enjoyed my first loaf of Raisin Pumpernickel last week. My question is my concern with the cold water. ALL of the recipes I have seen and all of them in the recipe booklet that came with the machine say "warm" water...90-110 degrees. Can you offer a little insight here? TY
